The high security key management system provides a full audit trail of who removed the key, when it was taken and when it was returned keeping your staff accountable at all times. Our key control systems can either work as standalone systems requiring no network capabilities or it can be networked and administered using our ASSA ABLOY Traka Web software.

The iFob is the heart of the ASSA ABLOY Traka 21 system. It contains a small RFID chip which allows the system to identify the keys(s) attached.
The Security Seal is used to attach the key(s) to the iFob. Once the seal has been crimped, the only way to detach the keys from the iFob is to cut the security seal using a pair of heavy duty cutters.
Once attached to an iFob with the robust security seal, individual keys or keysets are assigned a specific receptor within the ASSA ABLOY Traka 21 cabinet and locked in place until released by an authorised user.
All keys and keysets are individually locked by the ASSA ABLOY Traka 21 unit. Green LEDs indicate those keys to which this user has access. The user cannot remove keys highlighted by the Red LEDs which continue to remain locked in place. Amber light indicates return position.

Users are added to the system by an administrator and can either be a standard user or another administrator. This is done from the user wizard in the admin section of the ASSA ABLOY Traka 21.
The permissions section of the ASSA ABLOY Traka 21 allows you to easily identify who has access to what keys and
allows you to edit each user’s permission.
