This item is designed to assist in the smooth sliding operation of both top and bottom window panels featuring narrow, fully sealed variable pitch spiral and torsion spring balance and foot systems.
Spiral window balances are an essential component in opening and holding sliding windows. This balance contains a spiral-shaped rod. Which goes into a tube containing the tension spring. Adjust the tension for each window support, by winding the spring (using a tensioning tool).
The Long Stop is fitted to the jamb at the sill against the inside face of the outer lining to stop the sash 113mm fropm the sill.
