Lockwood Detention Standard Screw

The Lockwood Detention Standard Screw Series range was developed after extensive research with government representatives, architects, nurses and locksmiths experienced in correctional, juvenile justice and health departments.

A heavy duty plate designed for use in hospitals and detention facilities, Lockwoods solution protects the well-being of patients and inmates without compromising security and staff safety. Styled for institutional use, this plate has six fixing points to ensure that it is well secured to the door; plates are designed to be free of ligature points. The detention flush pull has been designed to maximise grip and eliminate the possibility of hiding objects in the cavity.

Torx anti-tamper, snake-eye and standard screws are available in accessory packs to suit different door thicknesses. Only standard screws to suit doors 35mm to 45mm thick are supplied with furniture. Other variations need to be ordered separately using part numbers specified.

Standard screws are supplied with concealed fix furniture. For standard screws longer than 65mm, order SP0655MBK (75mm screws).

​​​​​​​Choose the correct furniture screw to suit the door width, ensuring the furniture screws do not protrude past the opposite face of the door.
If screws require cutting to length then ensure that ends are deburred and a thread adhesive (e.g. Loctite) is applied to screw end to prevent screw from working loose.
