The ASSA ABLOY Rixson EH340 Door Pivot for door closers, is an electric top pivot in the style of a walking beam that can be utilized with any floor closer or bottom pivot that is center-hung. In addition to maintaining door alignment, pivots help with floor closer and top pivot installation. Available in multiple finishes.
Pivot sets provide the best possible means of hanging a door. They are designed to work with the laws of physics to provide long-lasting performance and reliability. The weight of the door is supported at the bottom by the floor using the principles of gravity to its advantage; the door swings with less resistance and heavier doors can be accommodated. Reduced stress on frame with fasteners are in shear, not tension and eliminates door sag through being vertically adjustable. Heavy-duty hardened steel spindles with thrust bearings supports vertical loads. Needle bearings and bushings for lateral force whilst extra heavy-duty models also have an additional surface applied thrust bearing to handle heavier or high-traffic doors.
